From these humble beginnings, Perkasie has grown to a community covering just over 2.5 square miles with approximately 10,000 residents. It is located midway between Philadelphia and Allentown. The “Manor “of Perkasie was one of several in Bucks county around 1708. In 1860 the Henry Nace farm was purchased which is where the present Perkasie is built.
