A historic place

Founded in 1743, the community was so named on account of a flouring mill near the original townsite. Regional farmers had previously come to the area to buy supplies and have their wheat ground by the millers along the Wissahickon. Most of the houses are old, many dating to Colonial times. Flourtown's sole commercial activity is carried on by a few antique shops.  The Black Horse Inn is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

a gorgeous remodel

The picture on top shows a gorgeous garage remodel/new construction we did in Flourtown neighboring Ambler. We keep a lot of the old characteristics of one portion of the garage and added on another swing to incorporate the same features. Dormers were installed on the second floor to add some much-needed headroom.

A modern feel

In the next two images, we show some more remodeling projects for your Flourtown neighbors in Ambler. The first project is a bathroom addition we added above a garage. We kept all the classical looks and implemented them into a new bathroom. The second project is of a bathroom addition that has a modern feel but still has some traditional accent pieces.
